The managing director of M3 International Nigeria Limited, Mr Mukhtar Sani, has petitioned the Management of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria ( FAAN) over their inability to offset the N500 million debt owed his company since 2002.
This is even as he requested for $5million compensation for aggravated damages arising from traumatic experiences, financial down turn and health challenges for a period of ten years from 2002 to 2012.
A copy of the petition which was dated November 10, and signed by the MD was made available to LEADERSHIP Friday yesterday and to also the presidency, minister of transport and office of the secretary to the federation.
Sani admitted that his company fully executed a construction project at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja since 2002, adding that FAAN refused to pay the debt irrespective of outrageous loans obtained from commercial banks to execute the project.
According to him, “Since I completed the project, I have suffered various disgrace, harassments from the Police engaged by the bank,” he said.
f Court Order, sale of all my properties used to secure the loan including proprietary rights on shares mortgaged from the bank loan which is now defunct and my entire investment has gone down the drain.
He said that failure, neglect or refusal of FAAN to pay the damages would be treated with more demands to ensure that he got justice and remedy for various setbacks suffered as a result of reckless delay in recouping his investment.
